So how many people are going to get banned for afk'ing in those luck games this time round?

Anyone fancy a trip to the pub while we're all AFK?

Screw the lucky/unlucky titles, this is all about the Dragon Arena.

Please please make that permanent please.

I haven't been more apathetic towards an event since the Anti-War protest in Dublin.

I doubt that the wurm tagging arena is going to be open again, unless Anet comes up with new prizes or is handing out Dragon Masks again. Personally, I want Dragon Masks; I remade so many of the characters. Only 3 of my characters have the masks at the moment, out of the 6 that I had.

5th title, here I come! Actually, though, I don't think there's enough time to get it .
Perhaps, however, I'll be able to get Tragic!

They should rename this event to Double AFK Weekend!

Thanks Anet!
Since when did Halloween take place around the 20th? I think you're getting your week-ends mixed up

Also, what are the rewards going to be for winning?

There were two previous post from Gaile's responses about the orbs not being used again (http://guildwarsguru.com/forum/showt...php?t=10061845) and a mention of the Whack a Wyrm game (http://guildwarsguru.com/forum/showt...hp?t=10061859).

Anyway, I wish the festival games of chance could be a little more interactive but given how many people have to be able to play them at once, I can understand. Definitely looking forward to more dragon arena though.

Just a thought, since they aren't giving away orbs, it seems unlikely that you will be able to obtain masks...especially since it isn't the dragon festival.

Highly extreme exaggeration here.

As far as I can tell after the first event, most people only got tier 1 or tier 2 of the titles simply because they didn't have enough gold for more tickets.

For the most part only hardcore UW farmers would have enough gold to max those titles easily.

Making them permanent would not lead to 500 000 players with max titles. Nowhere remotely near that.

As for why they should be made permanent, here's two great reasons:

1. "Unfavored" and "Prosperous" sound horrible . Being stuck at Prosperous because there isn't enough time to max it even though Prosperous sounds way worse than "Favored" (one tier lower) is horribly wrong. Being stuck with "Unfavored" is also no good.

2. There is never enough notice to give time to save up enough money to buy enough tickets in time for the events.

If I didn't already have my grandmaster cartographer, I would love this event. Now I only have to gather lots of money for the tickets and do something else - like my homework - while waiting for the titles to appear...

These titles are the dumbest thing GW has done. Titles are about recognition for something cool or difficult not fir having enough gold to AFK for 3 days. who ever has these titles i think what a waist of time.

You really don't need them to make it permanent to play dodgeball, you know? My friends and guildies did this exact thing months before the Dragon Festival.

The same can be said of several of the titles, then.

Survivor titles can be easily obtained by standing around during missions so everybody else has to do the work and you don't die.

Wisdom titles can be obtained by having enough money to buy loads of unidentified items to identify yourself.

Drunkard titles can be obtained by a zoning trick. While some people say this was fixed, there are definitely others saying that it does, indeed, still work.
